HUMANZI – DublinTo je četverica mladih dublinskih glasbenikov s hudimi ritmi in ostrimi jeziki s poslanstvom visokooktanskega rocka , ki ima tudi z besedili kaj povedati: najnovejša atrakcija iz domovine U2. »Njihova glasba združuje temne misli o osamljenosti, izolaciji, zatiralski kulturi s tako navdušujočo glasbeno energijo, da poslušalec ne ve, ali naj vrže kamen v najbrižjo izložbo ali naj objame prvega mimoidočega«. Njihov prvi CD »Tremors« je izšel julija lani pri ugledni neodvisni založbi FICTION( Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Snow Patrol, Ian Brown/Happy Mondays…), producent sta bila Chris Vrenna ( Nine Inch Nails) in Gareth Mannix. V zadnjem letu so HUMANZI igrali s FOO FIGHTERS, THE STROKES, PIXIES, NEW YORK DOLLS, Eagles Of Death Metal kot predskupina, enakopravno pa z vrsto novih bendov(Dirty Pretty Things, peaches, White Rose movement). Nastopili so na MTV2, bili bend trenutka na SPIN.com in prejeli irsko nagrado Meteor 2006 kot najboljši nov bend, letos pa so nominirani za najboljši irski bend sploh!

Rock Otočec is a music festival, traditionally held at an idyllic spot next to the Otočec castle at the castle bathing spot of the river Krka. Otočec (meaning island in Slovenian) is located just out of the town Novo mesto, which lies half way between the capital of Slovenia, Ljubljana, and that of Croatia, Zagreb (70 km distance from both cities). The festival attracts between 4 and 8 thousand visitors daily. It has hosted well-known music artists in the past years, among them: Fun Lovin Criminals, Living Colour, Asian Dub Foundation, Henry Rollins, Dog Eat Dog, Liquido, The Toasters, H-Blockx, Emil Bulls, Primal Fear, Fishbone, Stereo MC's, Fundamental, Apocalyptica,
Chumbawamba … Yet more than music this festival is marked by the numerous and varied activities of its daily programme. Street theatre performances, creative workshops in different skills, clowns, jongleurs, and many more give the Festival its distinguishing note, all being topped by the unique games and joys in the mud-pool, especially the Miss and Mister Mud selections, Rock Otočec Model competition and Football Matches.
